Thanks jimbowood. Very average brew here. Pours a pale orange color with a thin white head. Has a mild hop aroma. Taste is very light on the palate. This one is very easy to drink, very simplistic. Has a mild malt finish to balance out the hops. Very light, almost sweet finish.

Amber color is darker than most pale ales. Fairly hoppy aroma and taste. Followed a bottle of LandShark, and was much superior in all aspects.

Bottle: Pretty average across the board. Pale amber appearance with almost no head. Very slight aroma of hops (no citrus aroma or flavor for that matter). Malt flavor with slight hop finish. Ok beer.

Bottle. Nice beer. Wonderful aroma, almost floral in it’s smell. Taste is great. One of the best hop tastes I’ve had the pleasure of tasting. Great experience. Highly recommended.

Thanks to jimbowood for this bottle. So close. I traded for this so I could have the right beer for the right rating on the right day. Unfortunately, I got a little distracted yesterday and never got around to rating the beer. So, I got in the right mood again and am rating it a day later. Close enough. Pretty light and watery, almost a pale lager style pale ale (hence the extra pale). Malt is so light it almost makes my mind wander towards adjuncts. Hops just don’t play the role they should in a pale ale. Virtually just there to balance the malt a little. No standalone bitterness at all. The best thing i can say about this beer it that it’s very wet. The little bit of hops do suggest somethinig like a wet grass in the morning or a melon. It’s cool and wet, but with a touch of a green hopish flavor. If someone told me this was a pale lager I would have to score it pretty high, because it tastes like a really good pale lager. But, as an APA, it just doesn’t have enough of anything to be satisfying.

12 oz. bottle on 44/16/2008. Clear gold pour, medium white head. Toffee and some light citrus aroma, not overpowering but inviting. Clean on the palate with a medium body and carbonation to match. Good balance, and welcome and refreshing dry finish. A pretty standard APA, easily drinkable and refreshing. Nice session beer.
