On tap during a layover in atlanta. This was a pleasant surprise reminding me of sierra nevada harvest ale. Unfortunately mine was served in a frosted mug practically as an ice cube. What I did manage to glean from this illfated encounter may be misrepresentative of the pale ale’s true being. I for one, would like to revisit at first chance.

Bottle opens with a faint hiss, and mere cirrus wisps of foam top the deep straw/pale orange beer. Mild caramel and cookiedough aromas, plus toasty granola and DMS. A suggestion of floral/honey sweetness transitions into minerally springwater flavor and a dash of lemon and crabapple. Palate is watery yet creamy. Mildly bitter, cornflake, earthy, chalky aftertaste. Although a fairly bland lawnmower ale, probably still too assertive for BMC-drinking babies.

Draught into shaker. Amber colour with a rather timid hop aroma. Flavour was also very light on the hops for an APA. Good but not great.

Amber in color. Mild floral aroma. More malt taste than I want in an APA. Typical for most of Sweetwater brews, decent but not great.

Golden-amber color. Aroma is a bit grainy with a vegetable-earthy quality in the nose. Flavor is a bit sawdusty and plain with some mellow hops. Not terrible, very bland.

Thanks to Margaret for bringing this one back from Tennessee--Poured a tawny copper golden body with a medium-sized fluffy white head. Nose of decent piny and florla hops alongside biscuity malts. Not enough bite. Extra pale finish that was a bit watery. Naming this "420" was deceptive.

Nice copper appearance with piney hops in the nose. A nice overall pale ale but to me could have used a bit more malt to balance out the flavor.

12 oz bottle. Pours a copper/gold with a 1 cm off white head that is slowly diminishing. Aroma is citrus mostly, but hints of hops and pine are present. Citrus initial taste with some maltness, aftertaste is hoppy. Light to medium body, almost no carbonation. Light and drinkable, standard beer when I’m in the south, but it doesn’t beat out the high end hoppy beers.
