12oz bottle, BBE 1/1/08. Pours a crystal clear bright golden color, stark white foam with subpar retention and almost no retention. Aroma is restrained Cascade hops and little hints of pale malts. Very easy to drink, slight notes of hops, decent malt backbone, a good but not great beer.

Perhaps more bitter than most other pale ales, but the flavor is very distinct and unique.

12 oz. Clear shiny copper with a medium-sized head. Aroma is slight citrus, light nutty malt, resin. Flavor is same. Light, watery and dryish.

Bottle from my friends from Georgia. Pretty decent APA, but frankly I found this a bit too grassy for my tastes (I suppose that’s the whole gimmick though). Very crisp and had a good citrus and floral hop flavor to it as well.

Really good beer. I haven’t had many Pale Ales but it reminded my of the Dogfish head 60min IPA. Good flavor and aroma. I drank this out of a shaker.

On draft at ATL airport. The darn IPA was empty. So this is what I had. They poured it into a big ‘ole tumbler glass. It looks clear copper with gold edges and off white head. The aroma is light with malty sweetness and what seems like a combination of citrus and floral hops. The taste comes off as crisp and fresh with mild malt sweetness that’s broken apart by floral hop bitterness and hints of citrus grapefruit hops.

It was a decent beer especially for a pale ale. It is dark and similar to the IPA.
