| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 13, 2009 Bottle pours a nice yellow with a hint of orange. Aroma is somewhat lacking with just a hint of lemon and citrus hops. Taste is very crisp with a light sweet taste initially and somewhat dry and bitter finish. Have to say this beer did not meet my expectations, it is somewhat lacking in taste for a pale ale. Rustyham (565), miami, Florida, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 7, 2009 Pours orange-copper into the glass, with a weak white head that leaves trace lace. The nose is of sweet malt and some citrus. The flavors have some nice pale malts, some tea, a hint of copper, herbal hops, some grainy bread, and finishes with a tannin bitter. The beer is well-integrated, and makes for a nice sessionista. The palate is light and crisp, with medium-active carbonation and smooth drinkability. Not a bad APA, just not as complex as the top-tier offering in the style.
