The aroma is intense and very full for a PA which is probably why i enjoy it so much when i cant get an IPA at the bar. Great hoppy and light beer. rayg1 (438), Ft. Mill, South Carolina, USA

Pours a darker golden color with a nice prickly head. This stuff smells fairly sweet actually with the hops taking a backseat on the nose. Taste is a whole different story! This beer is sticky, sweet, citrus, and just hoppy enough to give a crisp kick. Excellent stuff and if I could get it more easily I might drink this from time to time over SN Pale Ale. realale420 (399), west covina, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 1, 2007 12oz bottle (thanks to jrob_21) poured a clear pale/gold color with almost no head. Aroma was sweet malt and not that much of a hop nose. Taste was well rounded with a good bitterness and malt profile. Could use more carbonation. kyzr (1123), Belgrade, Montana, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 9, 2007 Bottle shared with HogTownHarry & biegaman -- my bottle courtesy of shp555. Pours a clear golden-orange with an average size diminishing white head. Pleasant C-hop aroma and flavour -- simple but easy to drink. A little watery but not too bad. Medium bodied. Perhaps a little dull but it’s still a pretty good Pale Ale. smcd (366), USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 8, 2007 (Draft. Bottles). Stuck in Atlanta ... this was a nice find. Hazy orange. Medium white head. Standard pale ale hops lend citrus notes and a crisp finish. Quite nice. mgumby10 (1858), Jupiter, Florida, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 8, 2007 Pours a cloudy orange with a medium white head. Nice mellow hop aroma, hints of grapefruit and other citrus fruit. Pretty nice smooth, crisp taste. Hops are present, but not overdone. Slight bitterness towards the finish, but very refreshing overall. I get a little maltiness in the taste as well, just enough to balance out the hops. Grapefruit is really the only fruit characterI pulled out of this beer. Overall pretty decent.
