Standard pale ale hops lend citrus notes and a crisp finish. Quite nice. mgumby10 (1858), Jupiter, Florida, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 8, 2007 Pours a cloudy orange with a medium white head. Nice mellow hop aroma, hints of grapefruit and other citrus fruit. Pretty nice smooth, crisp taste. Hops are present, but not overdone. Slight bitterness towards the finish, but very refreshing overall. I get a little maltiness in the taste as well, just enough to balance out the hops. Grapefruit is really the only fruit characterI pulled out of this beer. Overall pretty decent. markgugs (86), Wood Ridge, New Jersey, USA

A: Golden orange in color, nice 1-finger white head, dies down after a few moments but leaves a nice ring around the beer throughout, lots of nice lacing.
S: Smells of robust piney and citric hops, not much malt balance.
T/M: Loads and loads of citrus, grapefruit hops. Up front, throughout, on the finish, everywhere. Almost too much, the beer is fairly one-dimensional. The choice of hops keeps the brew fairly juicy & thirst-quenching, but there’s just not all that much substance here. Standard mouthfeel, crisp and refreshing.
D: Well, it’s a very easy to drink beer, and would be great for BBQs, tailgating, etc. I wouldn’t sit around & session with it though when there are so many other better beers available. Decent for what it is though. HogTownHarry (4026), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 1, 2007 Bottle (12oz). Shared with blankboy and biegaman, blankboy’s bottle. Clear, light gold, average white head. Pungent funk-resin sharp hop aroma, slight evergreen, simple light malt. Tastes a bit like a hopped-up pils, a little too sprucey for the light malt background. Light body, quite astringent - just okay, something didn’t click for me with this one. OhioDad (2491), Hilliard, Ohio, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 27, 2007 12oz bottle from shp555 - Thanks Steven - Pours bright amber with a short white head. Aromas of lots of c-hops upfront but under that I could find some slight caramel. Flavor is lots of citrus. A lot of floral flavor upfront with some tangerine, and a little caramel in the middle before a pretty fair bitter finish. Light, crisp and very clean on the palate. Refreshing and a beer i could drink easily during the warm months were it readily available. golubj (1300), Sunnyvale, California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Feb 25, 2007 Bottle. Aroma of malt, hops and grapefruit. Almost smells like a german lager. Taste is strange, and similar to the smells. Lingering bitter finish. It tastes like a mixture between a german lager and an american pale ale. Lou18 (1353), West Paterson, New Jersey, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Feb 24, 2007 I have had this many times, and can’t belive I have not rated this. Clear amber body, foamy and creamy off white head. Hop nose that is not over whelming. Nice crisp hop taste, dry bitter finish. Nice brew here. Cybercat (824), Georgia, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Feb 18, 2007 Very nice! The warm, cloudy amber color proclaims it as a beer worth your time. Head is thick and creamy. Flavor is somewhat hoppy, without bitterness - not complex, but robust and pleasant. Smooth as fine silk, it is a very drinkable ale that would probably make a good introduction to craft brews for someone who is used to macro-brewed lagers.
