12 oz bottle from Decaturstevo (thanks!). Pours a semi-clear golden/orange with a small head. Not much arooma except a bit of caramel and grassiness. Flavor is pretty mellow and a bit bland. Not much to say here...less than average. Thin and watery. Maybe i need to try a fresher bottle?

Sweetwater, while gaining commercial appeal (not the Memphis paper) still manages to crank out some of the better brews in the South. The 420 is excellent...it has a very unique flavor that is fairly hoppy. Cool, light brown, good laces. Excellent on tap.

You know. I am not sure how my opinion on this one should be taken. I had just finished a Terrapin Rye Pale Ale and this one was nowhere close to the beer that the Terrapin was. So I may actually be rating it low due to the circumstances.

Bottle. Small white smooth and somewhat of a fizzy head that mostly diminished, poor lacing, carbonation, transparent, and a gold hue. Nose was malty, piney hoppy. Piney, hoppy flavor but not overly done.

Very tasy brew! Make sure to check the drink by date because this local treasure is not pasteurized and therefore has a unique taste that is sacrificed with a short shelf-life. Pick one up if you’re in the area, you won’t be dissappointed!

This is a really good beer. I drank it after a 7 hours drive. Just what I needed. I tasted kind of fruity with a nice bitter taste of hops. There wasn´t really any head on the beer.
