Make sure to check the drink by date because this local treasure is not pasteurized and therefore has a unique taste that is sacrificed with a short shelf-life. Pick one up if you’re in the area, you won’t be dissappointed! Haack (101), Hornslet, Denmark

I tasted kind of fruity with a nice bitter taste of hops. There wasn´t really any head on the beer. LLee (20), Brandon, Mississippi, USA

After the first swallow I had to force myself to drink it just so I could justify the 5 or 6 bucks I spent, hoping that it might get better. Not everyone can be satisfied... ¾ (5009), Boulder, Colorado, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 24, 2006 Bottle, purchased either in Nashville or in Bellevue, KY (Cincy). Clear copper and gold colored body. Crisp and bitter pine sap hops up front, piney, syrupy and oily like a proper APA... classic pale ale fresh hop cone grassy flavor, really nice actually. Lightly sweet, crisp with a bit of a plastic malt flavor behind. Decent, certainly drinkable, something I would buy in 6 or 12 packs for sure, but we’re not talking about any best-of lists. A pale shade of amber upon pour with piney overtones in the aroma. Tastes excellent going down with a little bit of a bitter aftertaste. A little lighter than most pale ales vince98 (2), Florida, USA does not count | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 18, 2006 what can be said other than talk to Tinsley, this is a solid effort that was well appreciated at the AD05 part 2 event, surprisingly stood up to repeated usage. thank you macon, ga thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Aug 7, 2006 This bottled brew from a bottle shop marked best before the 2nd week of month 7 (what? No year??? thats lame) poured a small sized head of fine to large sized white colored bubbles that was long lasting and left behind a transparent typically carbonated light orange brown colored body and a good lacing. The mild aroma was hoppy malty and dough. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The crisp flavor contained notes of malt hops. It was not overly done, but had a nice balance of hops and malt on a malty base. A decent one that I would consider buying again. BeerRules (237), Houston, Texas, USA

Aroma is grainy, pine/citrus, and sweet, nice. Taste was a bit astringent, lemony, lightly toasted, and rather dry. Medium bodied mouthfeel, and my sample had rather low carbonation. Overall, a very decent pale ale.
