On tap at Summits sandy springs for the 420 release party and came with a 420 pint glass. Pours a light copper color with a decent white head. Aroma is nice and hoppy- pine and citrus, slight orange resin, and a nice light crystal malt profile. Flavor is moslty hoppy with more c hop flavor and bitterness, along with a bit of light crystal malt, but finishes a bit too overcarbonated and or dry. Could ahve a bit more residual sweetness, but makes for an easy drinking nice summer beer.

Amber pour with medium white head. Nice round floral hop aroma. Sweet malts mixed in with the hops. Resinous although almost muted malt flavors, if that makes any sense. Malts are not overly assertive. Grapefruity hop bitterness to finish, very dry...too dry for my taste.

Draught. Pours a gold color with a moderate white head. Somewhat sweet floral aroma. Flavor is mainly malty, with some hop undertones, coming out in the finish. This is somewhat of an institution in Atlanta, and I’ve had it a lot, so it’s sort of hard to rate objectively. It’s a fine fallback beer that’s available just about anywhere in the city, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to drink it.

Aroma: Very nice floral and slighty spicy Appearance: pours Golden with a nice slightly off white head which lasted a while Flavor: Malt forwad with some caramel with a nice hop bite to it. Palate: Medium light bodied, opens with a hop bite which yields to caramelly sweetness and seems to linger a little while Overall: Another good pale ale... very well constructed but I could not find anything outstanding about it. The beer was serverd way way too cold... I had to wait a while for my first sip...

On tap in Savannah, GA. Arrived at the table a clear golden amber with no head and left no lace. Mild aroma of malt and a few faint notes of hops. The flavor is very nice with solid malt up front followed by some moderate grapefruit hops. Light-medium bitterness that does not linger long. Crisp, refreshing finish with some breadiness in the aftertaste. Enjoyable.

Original rating 3/28/2006. 12 oz. bottle. Pours a medium gold with a moderate off-white head. Pleasant, slightly sweet aroma. Flavor is a nice combination of malt sweetness, good yeasty bread, a bit of citrus, with a pleasant hop finish. Not overly hopped. Very drinkable and enjoyable. 7-4-8-4-14=3.7

This was a great IPA to find this weekend while in Nashville. There is only one placed that severed this in Nashville, the 2nd Fiddle and I spent most of my time there. Every place else just served domestic and the mass produced imports. This pale ale was smooth with just the right amount of hops. I would put his up against SN any day.

Tap. Transparent and magnifying pale gold in color with a diamond shaped white ice sheaf for the head. Starch, cotton, linen, burlap and raw potatoes protrude mostly up the nose. Sweet, starchy flavor reiterations hark on lemon bread heels and sweet rolls. Musky bite hints at corn stalks and crunchy corn flakes. Lemon titters amidst baguette crust haunches. Cleanly tongue feel, free of debris, so curiosity meanders towards the starchy potato chip bag taste. Some sugary sweet corn in the finish.

12oz bottle acquired in trade with aracana (thanks!). Bottle labeled best before month 12, week 3. Poured a deep orange color with a smaller sized white head. Aromas of caramel, dough, and citrus. Tastes of pretty much the same.
