| 5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 20/20 | Mar 7, 2006 what is ther to say about this beer? it’s only downside is it’s hard to find unless you hail from the southeastern United States. Briliant taste is intensified with the exhalation of some killer dank smoke. The best beer to go with any buds. I admit it’s downgraded from a 5 to about a 3.5 without the additon of marijuana. Is this why they call it 420 ale... They claim cause it was first brewed on april 20th.. .but then again don’t their tours start at 4:20 too. If you like bud, try this beer. if not try it anyway! if you can find it. Cletus (5057), Connecticut, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 6, 2006 Bottle from Degarth. Pours coppery with a white head. Smells malty with some grass, hay and citrus. Tastes somewhat caramelly with light tealike hoppy notes. Finishes peppery and on the watery side. decaturstevo (1997), decatur, Tennessee, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 5, 2006 Strong hoppy aroma from a light coppery, sparkling beer with a slightly off colored head that went away quickly. A light initial flavor and a light bitter finish which is fairly short lived. Had a light to medium body, a dry texture, and lively carbonation. Good lake beer not harsh and not bland. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 4, 2006 Bottle. A fairly excellent APA quite possibly one of the best I ever tasted. Very well balanced, just the right amount of hops as well as fruitiness. Flavors of buuterscotch are also noticeable. The beer finsihes with a lasting bitterness. Lacing is quite nice and the head is of medium size. RAYBOY01 (1834), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 3, 2006 Very well balanced APA...sweet caramel and toffee malt with a generous pine and citrus hopping. The combination is a very refreshing and easily sessionable pale ale. I would eagerly seek this one out again. beerguy101 (3909), Newark, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 2, 2006 This American Pale Ale pours an orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is hoppy and malt sweet. A medium to light bodied American Pale Ale. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are citrusy and earthy. Not very hoppy or very bitter, but it is very crisp and dry. There is a touch of residual sweetness and the finish. Would make a good session ale. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly sweet. shadey (1500), Rochester, New York, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 2, 2006 Pour is a clear dark orange with a thin white ring of suds. Aroma is light citrus hops with a little bit of sweetness. Actually this beer has quite a bit of pleasent sweetness. The hops are a little bit more grassy and bitter in the flavor. The body is about right for this size beer. Maybe a little light. Overall very clean, and easy-drinking.
