| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 19, 2009 Bottle -- This poured with a lighter hue than I’d expected, bright copper ... and just a thin top, but fairly active. The aroma is almost yeast actually ... and a bit citric. This is an exceptionally easy to drink beer, pleasantly stingy, but altogether unoffending, too. Nice. Pours a golden to light orange with a white head. Aroma is malt and a touch of hops. Flavor is sweet malt, and a touch of hops. Refreshing pale ale, but after drinking their IPA first I think I may be doing this beer a injustice because im such a hophead. Still a good IPA, I enjoyed it very much. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 17, 2009 Poured a pale copper color with a white head that left only bits of lacing. The aroma was sweet, sugary malts and light citrus. The flavor was lots of malt and sugar in front of some almost wimpy citrus hops. Thin body, easy drinking. Not bad, just not that exciting. bierslaaf (34), Waxhaw, North Carolina, USA
