I remember my first experience with this beer when I was a freshman in college in savannah on spring break with my ultimate frisbee team. We saw this beer in the stores and had to have it. A craft brew thats called 420? Could their be a better beer made for us young stoner hippies? And this is a great college beer. Pours orange amber with a small sudsy white head and minimal lace. Nose is mildly hoppy, more malts, watery. Flavor is lightly hoppy, some citrus, more watery malt flavor. Funny to see how tastes have changed in 7 years. Man, that last sentence made me feel a little old. ben4321 (1014), Rockville, Maryland, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 10, 2009 On tap at The Federal, Durham, NC. Nice to have this one in the Triangle at last. Golden and lively, an inviting pour with faint traces of amber at the edges. Modest head, lively carbonation. The nose is nicely sweet, though not overpowering. The mouthfeel could be fuller, and the flavor is far more dry than the aroma would lead you to expect. Solid and sessionable.
