Very sweet aroma with the blueberry. Starts with a bitter hops then finishes with the sweet fruity taste that lingers until the next sip. One on a hot day was very good, but I could not drink more then that. Became too sweet for me at mid glass. JonnyC22 (164), Huntsville, Alabama, USA

It’s a unique concept, and Sweetwater pulls it off. However, the overpowering blueberry flavor may turn some off. It looks great, good wheat look, good aroma. Could use some more carbonation or something. Delirium (502), Santa Cruz, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 8, 2006 Bottle. Pours straw yellow, slightly cloudy, with a thin white head. Aroma is quite blueberry, plus a bit of grain. Flavor is considerably less fruity; has some blueberry of course, especially in the finish, but the taste is actually more dominated by spiciness (ginger, I think) and grain. Fairly high carbonation. For what it is, this is surprisingly good. brewgirlca (57), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 30, 2006 From a friend in Alabama. Golden color with a thin head. Blueberries big in nose. Hard to get real blueberry flavour in a beer and although this was almost certainly artificial it was very pleasent and well balanced with the sweetness of the beer, which still managed to end rather toward the dry end. An easy drinking fruit beer that tastes more real than most American fruit ales. ¾ (5006), Boulder, Colorado, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Aug 24, 2006 12oz bottle, I think I purchased this in Nashville when I drove through in early August 06. Light orange and yellow color, light chill haze present as well, but perhaps it’s a light cloudiness... I rated this in a low light environment (camping) so by the time it warmed to cellar temp it was hard to see. There’s a light and simple blueberry aromas wafting all out from this beer, chalky too, with some hay and wheat notes as well. Overall the nose is a bit on the bad side, with scents of artificial sweetener all over this thing. One-dimensional. At least it doesn’t taste terrible, it just tastes really plain and simple. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 23, 2006 Light orange yelllow color, small amount of head and almost overwhelming blueberry aroma. It does not taste too fruity, however. It is very light and creamy, a good summer ale. It’s nice that it’s not too fruity, but it still doesn’t really taste like beer. unclemattie (2438), Georgia, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Aug 16, 2006 This is their version of the panty-dropper. Chemical blueberry aroma and even stronger chem taste! Drank this regularly In 97 when nothing else was good in ATL. shp555 (1690), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Aug 16, 2006 Pours an amber color with a white head. Has a blueberry aroma with some maltyness peaking through. Sweet malty flavor with a sweet blueberry ending. A ok fruit beer not overwhelming but the blueberry tastes kind of extracty to me.
