(bottle) Clear amber body with small off-white head. Aroma is medium-sweet floral, with light earthy. Taste is pretty much the same. For me, the sweetness is unbalanced, and detracts. Medium body.

Good amber color, small white head that stayed around for a small respectable amount of time.Sweet malt and caramel aroma mild hops presence.Very nice flavor, hoppy upfront semi sweet then it changes to a sweet malt and goes to a nice bitter hop finish. This is a very nice brew fairly well done and tasty as hell. Thanks go out to Brewbandit for this one.Very drinkable brew and smooth all around.

Light copper/amber colour with a large dense off-white head. Sweet aroma of caramel, mixed with nice malt and plentiful english hops. Medium-bodied; Very bittering with the english hops up front, fading quickly to show the malt character. Aftertaste left clean, but somewhat bitter. No sugars to speak of though. Overall, a decent beer, not my favourite bitter though! I got this twelve ounce bottle from Mabdoney in a trade way back in August! Cheers Matt! I sampled this one on 21-November-2003.

This was not bad. I purchased a six pack of this to truly get a good feeling for it and I did not like the first bottle but after drinking it a few more times I grew to like it. Definitely not my favorite ESB, but definitely a good session beer.

Cooper hue with nice frothy head and some lace. Aroma hints of caramel, apple, hayfield, floral hops, and banana. Got a mild sweetness at the start but then a fresh twangy bitter hop taste took over but did not dominate. Minor acadic finish with a metallic feel. Clean and crisp, more in line with a standard pale ale than an ESB, but I still found it refreshing and easy to drink. A all night sixer brew.

Caramel and brown sugary sweet, malty aroma, with some light apple, pear and tangerine fruitiness and flowery hop. Medium-dark copper in color, with an uneven, creamy and lasting head. Malty and somewhat bready flavor, with light overtones of caramel and piney, earthy hop bitterness and flavors, which really become most apparent at the close. Medium bodied, with a thin, lightly creamy mouthfeel. Highly drinkable.
