Very hoppy, citrus flavours, touch of malt, lots of zing in the bitterness. Fairly nice beer, not sure it’s a Bitter though. mrkimchee (1414), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Nice sweet malt profile with citrus hop flavors rounding out the flavor. Almost orange flavored in the finish. Very clean and tasty. I wouldn’t have identified it as an ESB though. The company was great at the bar by the time this one came along, and things were just beginning! TheBeerCollector (548), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

Copperish orange color. Well balanced aroma and flavor. Yet another great beer from this Georgia brewery. Hoss (602), Florida, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 25, 2002 It was hoppy for an ESB, more again in the American way ratehr than English. A very decent session brew but not one I would seek out. aracauna (2391), Georgia, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 20, 2002 Pours a bit light for an ESB and extremely clear copper color (like copper-colored glass). Some of the expected British hop aromas with some american citric hops added in. Flavor lacks the chewy malt of a good ESB and really a lot of the hop character of a typical ESB. It’s mostly a light sweet toasty malt flavor with mild pear-like fruitiness. Not the best example of the style, but I like the beer. It’s easy drinking and not bad by any stretch.
