Dec 3, 2003 (bottle) Clear amber body with small off-white head. Aroma is medium-sweet floral, with light earthy. Taste is pretty much the same. For me, the sweetness is unbalanced, and detracts. Medium body.

Jan 23, 2003 Fresh hoppy aroma with some malt. Initial flavor peaks at pine needles. Perhaps they used spruce, but it's a very disconcerting off-flavor that I wasn't really expecting in an ESB. The finish is ok and the balance decent, but I expected a little more from this brewery.

Mar 5, 2004 Bronze color with a initially tall fluffy head that settles to a small cover of light tan bubbles. Slightly sour nut and floral aroma. Biting carbonation. Light malt sweetness coupled with an earthy nut and mild medicinal/resin component. A bit rough on the edges. Finish is somewhat spicy and takes to much away from the malt.

Dec 31, 2003 Dark copper color, sticky head and light islandic lacing. Buttery light hop aroma, caramel up front sweetness. Flavor is sweet and lightly balanced, the hops are delicious and the sweetness is a mix of brown sugar and molasses, yummy. Finishes sweet and flat. Good.

Oct 9, 2003 Cooper hue with nice frothy head and some lace. Aroma hints of caramel, apple, hayfield, floral hops, and banana. Got a mild sweetness at the start but then a fresh twangy bitter hop taste took over but did not dominate. Minor acadic finish with a metallic feel. Clean and crisp, more in line with a standard pale ale than an ESB, but I still found it refreshing and easy to drink. A all night sixer brew.

Dec 16, 2002 White head, light brown with some orange scent. Average look. A bit perfumy high on hopps .Not that bad. Bitter. Uff
