Pours a dark brown with tan head. Some floaters. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, dark fruit, hint of chocolate. Similar taste, kind of thin, but still pleasant.

Shared during some monday night football with curly, scottyp, and barrios. Pours a clear dark brown with ring of tan head. No telling how old the bottle was, but this sure has held up nicely. Nose is wonderful toasted marshmellows, roasty chocolate. Flavor is similar, with a bit of dirt, and some nuttiness. Rich roasted finish. Medium body is chewy. Very, very good porter. Why retired?

Pours a tan head with and a brown body with some copper highlights. Roasted and floral aroma. Flavors of roasted malt and nutty. Finish is a bit bitter with a black tea note.

12 oz. bottle shared by shigadeyo. Pours a clear dark brown with a small beige head and mild carbonation. The aroma is dark fruit, roasted malt, and chocolate. The flavor is mild roasted malt, light chocolate, a hint of sourness, and a touch of dark fruits. This is a bit thin, but the age could be an issue. This wasn’t bad however I am left to wonder if this was better fresh.

Bottle shared by shigadeyo. Poured clear dark brown color with an average frothy light brown head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate roasted caramel and chocolate aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Good drinkable beer, but retired.

Fairly dark brown with smallish brown head. Roasty nose with hints of chocolate. Flavor is rather sweet, with some spice and trace of chocolate and roasted malt. I really didn’t care for the amount of carbination in this. Almost gave it a cola mouth feel.

Another sad departure on a regular basis. This was a nice chocolaty porter that was easy to drink and not too dark and roasty.
