I am not a huge Porter fan but it tasted fairly well. It had that nice roasted taste to it. Definately good with eating some red meat.

(Draught) Pours a dark brown with a small off-white head. Flavor of sweet raosted malt and a hint of chocolate. Similar aroma. Somewhat bitter finish.

Great-looking dark-brown/black, framed by reddish edges and a moderate tan head. Aroma of coffee and fruit, preceeding an excellent roasty, chocolatey coffee flavor. I really liked the flavor, but there just wasn’t enough of it; this seemed a little weak for a porter. Good thick mouthfeel, and an excellent beer overall.

My kind of look. Deep mahogany with an ample tan head. Nose was roasted coffee laced with bitter chocolate. A bit too carbonated for a porter in my opinion. Flavor was sweet, chocolaty, coffee. Not bad at all.

09.01.04 12oz bottle courtesy of Goldtwins. My first GA beer so it better be good. Pours the darkest brown, almost black with smallish light tan head. Aromas are vinous; burnt toast; lots of smoke. Body is expectedly thin, nicely toasty and oily for a great coating feel. The flavors are more toast, a nice helping of smoke, some chocolate covered cherry, anise. Very nice experience that embodies all of the reasons porter is one of my very favorite styles. Thanks Larry!

nice off white head, dark brown, good smooth taste with malt prevailing at the end, not my favorite porter but would recommend it
