Pours basically black with a noisy tan head that quickly disappears. Smells like overripe blueberries and stale chocolate grahm crackers. The dark "blueberry" aroma is pretty subdued but's it's there. The flavor reflects those same fruit notes in the flavor, and then continues onto bready coffee notes. Not the good richness of coffee, just the bitter dry parts. There's an oily overtone to the whole taste spetrum that I found distracting. The finish has more roasted malt and bready flavors. The two main flavor components (fruit start and dry finish) just don't work well together for me. This is the 2nd time I've had this beer and I thought I was more impressed the first time.

Black with tan fizzy head and light lacing. Light roasted coffee, not too strong aroma. Flavor is sweet with chocolate and coffee, nutty and caramely. Finishes smooth and bitter, lightly fruity. Not too bad but nothing really stands out.

Pours brown with light brown edges, a bit cloudy. Small head that left in a hurry. Chocolate and roast malts, some toffee and mocha. Smoky, chocolates and more roast malts. Some fruit. Creamy palate, and a bit of a watery body.

A gorgeous hazy dark brown with mahongay highlights and a large diminishing tan head. Sweet aroma of chocolate, roast, raisin and cola. Medium watery creamy smooth palate with a moderate amount of carbonation. Mostly roasty flavor with hints of chocolate. Flavor is a little weak and watery. It is enjoyable but not very memorable. Thanks to Slikwily for this one!

Pours a dark brown, almost black. Thin tan head which doesn't last long. Chocolate malt aroma with a touch of hops. Roasted malt flavor with subdued hop finish. Seems kinda watered down. Thin, but tasty. Slightly above average.

Good slightyl sweet roasted aroma. Nice roasted flavor throughout, and not overpowering like a lot of other porters, with just enough malt backbone to smooth it out.

Pours dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of roasted malt. I'm assuming this beer isn't as good on tap. Has a roasty flavor with a bit of nuttiness and chocolate. Very nice.
