Liter bottles go fast. Start looking in October for it and grab it when you can find it. Worth buying a few when you can get them. 21iceman40 (1731), vienna, West Virginia, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 23, 2005 this was a really strange beer that i brought to tha noogfest. had alot of vegetables and wintery spices, like a gingerbread man. this carries over to the body which has some additional burnt caramel and sugars and an interesting rubbery thing goin on, not too bad. heemer77 (4311), Savannah, Missouri, USA

Pours an opaque black with a thin brown head, no lace. Smells fruity and roasted malt. Lots of spice, nutmeg, clove and allspice. Roasted coffee finish and aftertaste.
Not great. Kind of like Anchor Christmas gone wrong. Too much spice. Lackluster. DrunkAsASkunk (847), Lynnwood, Washington, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 3, 2005 2004 bottle....This beer pours a black/brownish mix with a beautiful and I cant emphasize that enough...BEAUTIFUL creamy soft, silky head with massive amounts of carressing lacing. The aroma is strange...cola-like at best with bargs rootbeer with orange coming to mind. Hints of cinnamon and vanilla are prevalent with undernotes of orange peel, oak, cinder, chocolate, and well cola!!! The mouthfeel is full bodied and once again cola-like! Heavy carbonation, tongue coating chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon, oak, coffee, and oranges. Incredibly tough beer to figure out. Relatively sweet finish with some bittering hops...wonderful creamy mouthfeel. If i could give a 6 out of 5 for appearance, this would get it! Chocolate and warming..oranges and citrus, hints of raisins..spicey warming finish. I will need more of these beers to help figure this beer out....but my initial interpreatation is that this is awesome!
