Commercial Description:
Definitely one of the finer American Brown Ales. A deep copper colored, mild brown ale. SGB is accentuated by a slight nuttiness from its malt character. Designed to be a session beer it has a real smooth finish with a very subtle hop character.

Medal: Gold medal winner at the 2001 Great American Beer Festival – English Style Brown Ales.

Malt: 2 Row, Black, Victory, 30-37 Carastan, 70-80 Crystal, Chocolate

Hops: Columbus, Willamette

A great dark body with a light crisp flavor that is very smooth on the palate.

It has a nutty flovor that is actually quite refreshing. Nice color. Another good Sweetwater creation.

This is my fourth Sweetwater and my favorite so far. Sweet apple and nut malt flavors make this an easy drinking beer

on tap at mellow mushroom. brownish tan with a small white head. smooth and thin. sweet not overpowering malt with a light hop finish.

Flavor: sweet malty flavor, hint of toasted biscuit, very low bitterness, dry finish
Overall: a full flavored brown ale

Aroma: earthy aroma with dry chocolate and caramel, light sulphur
Flavor: rich chocolate flavor, dry caramel, lots of earthyness keeping it dry, light nutty character, nice toasted malt, low bitterness - just earthy and dry
Overall: Sweet Georgia Brown is not a sweet as she was in her youth

bottle. extremely drinkable across the board. aromas of sweet malts and caramel. medium to thin body. low carbonation which leads to a great session beer. very good brown ale.

I’m not crazy about this beer, it seems kinda of weak with very mild of would be good brown ale flavors. It also taste a bit over hopped for a relative low hop beer. give a try, don’t expect to much
