Draft at Graffiti’s and Funky Blues Club in Sandestin, FL. Brown in the glass with a tan head that settled to a thin layer that lasted and left nice lacing rings. The aroma was subdued but malty. The flavor found light caramel, chocolate, and nuts. Light body and smooth.

Bottle and draught at various times. Pours clear dark brown with a medium off-white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, of caramel and brown sugar, and a hint of hops. Flavor is the same, plus a bit of nuttiness. Not particularly complex, but very well made---sweet but not overly so, with understated hops in the background.

This bottled brew marked bottled in month7 week 2 with no year??? was from a bottle shop and poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized off-white colored bubbles that was long lasting and left behind a transparent typically carbonated red brown colored body and a good lacing. The aroma was malty and dirty. The crisp thin mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish malty aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of malt and caramel. An OK brew just nothing special. Hey Sweetwater! Try putting a year on your bottling date!

Not bad. Sweet, flavorful, and rather enjoyable. Pretty average, but overall a good summer beer.

Drank a ton of these watching the Steelers lose me money the other night. For a darker beer, it’s surprisingly lean; on the other hand, it’s flavor, as the name suggests, is a bit sweet. I’m just glad Sweetwater finally made it out of Atlanta to the ’Ham.

Bottle. Small, ivory fizzy head that mostly diminished, lacked lacing, transparent, visible carbonation, and a red brown hue. Nose was malty sweet, caramel and nutty. Flavor was malty sweet, caramel, nutty, watery thin. Mouthfeel was smooth and watery. Light body.

This is headache in a bottle. I never had a good morning experience with this beer. Not one of the finer American Brown Ales.

12 oz bottle, vis BA dano213. Pours a clear rusty brown colored body under a foamy off-white head that had decent retention. Aroma is of sweet maltiness with a good dose of nuttiness as well. Some lesser notes of chocolate malt. Flavor is fairly light and pedestrian, as is usually the case with Brown Ales. Nutty and chocolaty with a light graininess and a touch of bitterness to balance things out. Mouthfeel is light bodied, watery in texture, and had quite a bit of fizzy carbonation. Overall, this was just an average to slightly below average Brown Ale. The best thing they could do is work on the thin fizzy mouthfeel.
