I had decided to pick up this beer because the Sweet Water Festive ale hasn’t arrived yet down in Savannah(damn you Atlanta, send it elsewhere). This beer however is great in taste. I definitely am fond of the nutty flavor to this beer.

Light brown with mound of a head. Light and airy caramel nose. Hearty hazelnut, caramel taste. Hint of a bitter ending. Quite good.

On tap: Pours a dark copper color. Very dark, chocolate and roasted tasting beer. Starts and finishes very smoothly. A very well blended and great tasting beer. I was very impressed.

A great Brown Ale. Nice color with that malty smoothness and just the right hint of hops.

This is probably my favorite beer brewed by Sweetwater. Good dark brown colour and a flavor that is slightly nutty. Who would have thought something this good would have come from Georgia!? I drank this out of a shaker.

Good example of brown ale. I enjoyed a pint of this on draft. Nice amber color but little to no head retention. The taste improved as the beer warmed.
