Commercial Description:
It's nice to be able to finally brew some beer without restrictions on it. we came from Colorado where we could brew or try anything. We've been waiting 7 years to make a stout and we harnessed all that frustration into this batch of beer.

We didn't get caught up in the parameters of a specific style we just brewed a big fat hoppy beautiful beer. The timing of the law change couldn't have been better for us, because it has taken until this summer for us to get set up in our new brewery. We finally have some capacity to experiment with some new style. This could lead into a seasonal offering from us in the future. For now we're just glad we can satisfy the demands of the folks who have been on us since day 1 to make a stout.

Malt: 70/80 crystal malt, chocolate malt, black malt, roasted malt

Hops: Centennial, Willamette and cascade - on the dry hop!

Pours a very thick black liquid with a dark caramel head. The aroma is quite hoppy for a stout. Slight coffee aroma is present. The flavor hits wtih a nice coffee start and finishes with a hoppy chocolate after taste.

12 oz bottle. I cannot, for the life of me, remember who sent me this... sorry. Black with a brown head. Sweet nose, strong dark chocolate and some coffee. Full body, smooth, almost oily. Bitter chocolate and mild coffee flavors, some sort of dark fruit. Lightly dry chocolate finish. Excellent.

Seems rather calm for an Imperial stout, but that doesn’t mean it’s not a tasty stout. A spicy-tasting cola flavoring.

Black pour thin beige head. Aroma is very hoppy very green and leafy. This beer is freakin hoppy very leafy tasting hops, green and even a touch of mint with a hint of citrus is the dominator, roasted malt is the majority with chocolate there as well. But this beer is definitely dry-hopped and hopped to all hell, not bitter which is great but just a ton of hop flavor making it unique. Thin mouthfeel with low carbonation making this a little watery. A dry-hopped like crazy imperial stout is deinitely different but it need more actual stout flavors.

Black color. Quite intense aroma. Good body, good caramel-roasted malt mix, balanced, just the final is a bit thin. Not bad.

Mystery 2.0. 12 oz poured a very thick black with fluffy dark brown head. Big hop nose. This is sweet and light, aged to perfection. There is no trace of alcohol in this, with a nice warming. Lots of hops, front to back. Very tastey. THANKS.

Bottle. A black beer with a big brown head. The aroma and taste is light roasted, of chocolate, light chocolate, light coffee and wood. Medium body with a dry roasted finish.
