12 oz, bb 10/14/07. Cloudy orange-gold with a small head that tries to last. Aroma is citrus, spicy yeast and coriander. Tastes of citrus, spicy coriander, and a nice balance of some hops and the classic estery-bubblegum flavor that is a bit less prevalent is this Wit. Light-medium body seems smooth while having some tingle on the tongue from the acidic citrus, hops, and the carbonation. Nice take that strays only slightly (but successfully) from the classics of the style.

Bottle thanks to my roommates bringing some for me from Georgia. Smells like a standard Belgian White, but the flavor is very good. Citrus flavor is a little subtle from what I’m used to, but it’s decent enough that I could let it pass.

I think of all the sweetwater beers, this was my least favorite. If you want a good wheat ale Paulaner is the way to go. I drank this out of a shaker.

12oz bottle. Pours a cloudy lemon color with a relatively small, considering the style, bubbly white head. Aroma is normal witbier smell, though pleasant. Sweet, citrus, oranges, slightly doughy, spicy with a hint of gingerbread, which is a bit of a surprise. Good aroma overall though. Taste is watery, smooth. Lacks the acidic punch and nice tart thirst quenchingness that the best examples of the style employ. Easy to drink and certainly non-offensive in every way but nothing sets it apart from the many other beers in this category.
