A great lazy Saturday or Sunday afternoon beer for a hot weekend. An orange cloudy pour with a fizzy white head that dissipated rather quickly. Tastes of orange and oriental spices with a malty doughey finish. BeerandBlues2 (3230), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA

Pours cloudy dark yellow, orange, with an average white frothy head, somewhat lasting, fair lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (bread, meal, hay, straw), light hops (grass), heavy yeast (dough) with notes of banana and coriander. Light bodied, thin texture, soft carbonation and a chalky finish. Light sweetness, acidity and bitterness; light refreshing summer ale. illinismitty (1799), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 21, 2007 Updated: Apr 29, 2007A very hot waitress at the Flying Saucer gave me the beer list. I quickly ordered a Hummer. Anxiously awaiting, I was immediately disappointed when she returned without knee pads, but with a pint of witbier. Pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Faint aroma of citrus and yeast esters. Soft carbonation and very soft and light on the palate. Flavor of orange zest, wheat malt, and coriander. Finish is a bit thin. This would really hit the spot on a hot day. If this would have just a little bit more malt backbone, this would be outstanding.Overall, this is a pretty respectable witbier and much better than I expected, but I would have preferred a hummer. redlight (1490), Winter Park, Florida, USA

Pours turbid morning urine yellow color with 2-finger whitish head. Aroma of heavy citrus, orange zest, coriander, floral spices. Tastes very spicy, with a lot of coriander, orange marmalade, white pepper, apricot, and floral notes. Complex, medium density palate that gets sweeter and more orange marmalady as it warms up. Pretty good brew here. stiffy42j (67), Brunswick, Georgia, USA
