Commercial Description:
This mammoth IPA is defined by generous quantities of premium hops and balanced with a premium selection of English malt. Traditionally unfiltered IPA’s lead to the slight haze appearance. An extensive dry-hopping process contributes to its very intense floral hop aroma. The IPA is unfiltered and as always, unpasteurized to leave all the natural flavors intact. If you’re at the brewery you’ll be able to guess what style of beer every brewer has in his hand. THE BEER YOU'VE BEEN TRAINING FOR!

Malt: 2 Row, Pale Malt, Munich, 70-80 Crystal, Wheat

Hops: Columbus, Golding

Dry Hop: Columbus, Golding

Pours out a hazy copper color with big white head. Great big aroma of hops, pine and grapefruit. Taste has some of the citrus, but very smooth, not overpowering at all. This beer is one of the absolute joys of going to Georgia. Sweetwater has many great beers, but if you want to try one to get you hooked, this is the one.

$1.79 single at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia. The Fourth of July. The one day in July you absolutely have to go out and let loose in an uncontained expression of American freedom, fun, and perhaps even a little licentiousness. Yes sir. Hm. Appearance: Pours a hazy amber-colored body with a small, white head. Smell: The aroma is showing of juicy, ripe grapefruits, with only a trace amount of dough in the background. Taste: Faint toasty caramel malt sweetness before the grapefruit plunge and piney hop character that creeps into the long finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Moderate carbonation. Drinkability: Definitely one of Sweetwater’s better beers!

Insanely hoppy.... wonderful IPA out of ATL... definitely the best beer from Sweetwater. you can smell the hops right after you open the bottle... wonderful palate... thick body with the hops taking over from front to back... big citrus filled hop juice and spice. a true hop bomb of an IPA. Atlanta’s best year-round. Drink this over the flagship 420 .... it’s much better.

Bottle thanks to Decaturstevo poured a clear amber/gold color with nice off white head. The aroma was cirtus and english hops with a nice clean caramel malt. Flavor had a good balance of bitterness and malts. A clean hop taste followed by a dry finish. One of the better IPA’s out there.

Thin head which shrinks quickly. Little bit dissapointing. Pretty much no carbonation at all. Wonderful aroma though. Watermelon, citrus, pine, succulent juicy hops. Color is a medium orange. Light to medium bodied. A little bit of carbonation life in the mouth. Very fruity flavor. Quite soft up front then the bitterness shows up late swallow. More pine, orange, watermelon. Not overly bitter. Does not a leave the dry pasty feeling in your mouth that some overly hopped IPA’s bring. Very easy drinking. Finishes soft and smooth with a little lingering bitterness and grapefruit rind. An excellent IPA. Thanks to TBC for this one.

Bottle via thebeercellar. Amber color. Smell of citrus, pine , orange zest, grapefruit, hops, lemon oil, malt, spice and some pine. Taste of hops, pine, grapefruit, lemons, spices, appricots, citrus zest/peal, bitters, flowers, grass and a little bit of bread/toast. Wonderful IPA! Very enjoyable!

Bottled. Golden/orange almost clear body with an off white head. Powerful and delicious citrus aroma. Flavor is relatively mild malt, some bitterness and a bit sweet. This is a well balanced and nice IPA but I don’t fin it too special. A nice and quite typical American IPA.
