Commercial Description:
This mammoth IPA is defined by generous quantities of premium hops and balanced with a premium selection of English malt. Traditionally unfiltered IPA’s lead to the slight haze appearance. An extensive dry-hopping process contributes to its very intense floral hop aroma. The IPA is unfiltered and as always, unpasteurized to leave all the natural flavors intact. If you’re at the brewery you’ll be able to guess what style of beer every brewer has in his hand. THE BEER YOU'VE BEEN TRAINING FOR!

Malt: 2 Row, Pale Malt, Munich, 70-80 Crystal, Wheat

Hops: Columbus, Golding

Dry Hop: Columbus, Golding

Still the standard for IPAs generated in the South. Bar none my favorite beer.

draft at Brick Store - Aroma is strong grapefruit and floral hops. Pours hazy brown with a medium head and decent lacing. Flavor matches aroma with a nice balancing malt back. Palate is tart and crisp. Great brew.

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy golden orange, with a thin white head. Aroma is very hoppy, being a complex mixture of a number of different kinds of hops dominated by pine and fresh grapefruit, balanced also by substantial malt with a mild sweetness. Flavor is much the same, dominated by a fresh citrus/grapefruit taste backed by a moderately sweet (honey-sweet, not heavy) base. Probably my favorite IPA.

The appearance of this is a light honey color, with a medium opacity. The smell is very hoppy but sweet, and complex. The taste: wow--those hops pack a punch! A delicious floral hop taste in the back, which I like, but on the front and when I roll it around it doesn’t have much taste but what it has is simple, refreshing, and sweet. Still, it’s nice to get smacked around once in a while in the back of your mouth by some great hops. The one thing that would make this better would be less carbonation. Overall verdict: if you love hops, give it a crack.

Bottle. Small off-white-ivory head that mostly diminished, sparse lacing, minimal carbonation, hazy, and a light orange hue. Nose was hoppy, citrus, sweet and some pine notes. Flavor was not over-the-top hoppy, bitter tasting and fruity. Fairly smooth mouthfeel and a tad bit dry. Light-medium body.

Bottle from friend in Alabama. Beautiful Cascade citrus character throughout, big nose, definite flavour. Malt balance is almost perfect. Could end a bit more bitter for a true to style IPA but this is a great drinking beer.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop was marked month 5 Week 1 from an unknown year. Why do so many bottlers not put the year in the bottling date??? It poured a small sized head of foamy with a frothy top fine to large sized off-white colored bubbles that was mostly lasting and left behind a transparent typically carbonated orange brown colored body. The mild aroma was hoppy and orange peel. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and strongly tingly at the finish. The thin flavor contained notes of hops orange peel and was crisp & clean. A decent one but not one that I would consider buying again.

Bottle. I decided to try this one again and I was really suprised. I have recently been very underimpressed w/ this brewery, but w/ beers like this one they could redeem themselves. They retooled the recipe and the result is a larger and more defined hop profile. Grapefruit from start to finish. Finest IPA brewed in GA I’d say.
