Commercial Description:
This mammoth IPA is defined by generous quantities of premium hops and balanced with a premium selection of English malt. Traditionally unfiltered IPA’s lead to the slight haze appearance. An extensive dry-hopping process contributes to its very intense floral hop aroma. The IPA is unfiltered and as always, unpasteurized to leave all the natural flavors intact. If you’re at the brewery you’ll be able to guess what style of beer every brewer has in his hand. THE BEER YOU'VE BEEN TRAINING FOR!

Malt: 2 Row, Pale Malt, Munich, 70-80 Crystal, Wheat

Poured clear orange with a fluffy white head. Aroma was well hopped with sweet orange and lemon notes. Had a good malt body with grassy hops being the main taste. The finish was sweet orange hops. Good balance with a great finish.

Bottle courtesy of goldtwins. Hazy amber with white head that fades to film. Appears oily, coats the entire inside of glass. Aroma has alot more citrus hops than expected (after reading the description). Big citrus zest character (grapefruit and orange), along with residuel pine resin and malt sweetness. Flavor much the same, quick sweet malt kick up front, turns to citrus zest, mostly grapefruit, and some more pine. Finishes with a nice bitter bite that cleans the palate. I prefer a little more malt sweetness, but this is still a very nice IPA. Great session brew...hot summer day, an "erie deerie" in the water, and nothing but time.....ahhhhh

Bottle from kp Thanks!

Pours a nice amber with a quickly diminishing head and clinging lace. Aroma is strawberry and grapefruit. Flavor is well-rounded floral sweetness, with hints of strawberry, orange, grapefruit, and, uh, flowers. Palate coats nicely. VERY good beer. I’d love more, hint hint.

12oz bottle via trade with kp - Thanks Keith! - Pours slightly hazy amber with a creamy offwhite head that stays pretty well and laces the sides of the glass. Aroma is a nice balance of sweet caramel malts and citrus grapefruit hops. Flavor doesn’t dissappoint either. Very balanced between the bitter grapefruit and the sweet caramel. Nice bitter finish.. Just the way I like an IPA. Smooth creamy and balanced. Very nice brew!..

Sweetwater IPA pours to a deep golden to murky light orange color with a thick white head, and a soft to moderate amount of carbonation. The nose has some nice, crisp, pale malt aroma, paired with mild citric hop aromas. The palate is a bit lean, with some biscuity malt flavors, a touch of ripe estery fruit, and a soft, drinkable body. This beer is very fresh tasting, and goes down so easy in the blazing Georgia heat. Sweetwater IPA finishes with just a touch more fruit up front, and ends with a mild citric hop bite that lingers slightly on the tongue. A very drinkable IPA, one you could have a few of and your tastebuds would not be overwhelmed.

12 oz bottle, via CaptainCougar. Pours a slightly cloudy copper with a fluffy beige head. Sediment in bottle. Aroma equally balanced between caramel malt and citric hops. Some pine and grapefruit notes. Well balanced flavor as well, leaning slightly towards the malty end of the spectrum. Finish is softly bitter. Medium bodied with very soft fine bubbled carbonation. Well rounded and creamy. A decent IPA, not overly assertive, more of a mellower earthy version.

Strawberry banana pour with a lasting, creamy head. The aroma is nicely dryhopped - highlighting citrus and sweet fruits. More hops are highlighted in the body - from grapefruit to grass - they steal the show. And unfortunately everything else - overpowering any malt presence. Slight bitter finish is peppered with alcohol spiciness. While this is good and drinkable, it falls into the one-dimensional IPA category - no malt to be found throughout.
