Soft nose of grapefruit, florals, evergreen, and toffee, with an underlying tone of apricot and caramel. Subdued up front citrus hop bite with a decent caramel malt backing throughout. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, slightly dry, hoppy finish. Nice brew that shares some flavor similarities with Alpha King...

Nice hoppy aroma, bursting with lychee, grapefruit, pine and all those things you associate with an IPA. Unfortunately it fades away on the palate a little bit. There are some fruity hop characters as the aroma suggested, but there was a flat boiled vegetable character that just wouldn’t go away. I was really dissapointed. maeib (4725), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England

A copper gold coloured beer with a reasonable head. The aroma is strong on the piney hops and is also nicely citric. The taste is also full on hops - grapefruit and mouth puckering bitterness. One of the hoppier IPAs I’ve had but there is just the problem of the body being too light which we all picked up. That besides a top beer. Big thanks to CaptainCougar for bringing this one over to Kook and to Kook for sharing. harrisoni (6798), Ashford, Kent, England

Ooops another intense US IPA with grapefruit and hop. OK in mouth, but doesn’t live up to its nose. Bit thin in mouth and on finish. This rather lets it down Mungo (2474), Southampton, Hampshire, England

Pours a transparent orange witih a slight haze and an off-white head. Very nice lacing. Lots of sweet orange up front and fruity sweetness in general. Finishes with a mild grapefruit hoppiness. Hops could be strengthed a little to balance all the fruity sweetness. SilkTork (4173), Rochester, Kent, England

Hazy orange with a fluffy white head. Strong, hoppy aroma. Really juicy, fragrant IPA with citric bitterness, some sweetness and floral notes. Great.
