Commercial Description:
This mammoth IPA is defined by generous quantities of premium hops and balanced with a premium selection of English malt. Traditionally unfiltered IPA’s lead to the slight haze appearance. An extensive dry-hopping process contributes to its very intense floral hop aroma. The IPA is unfiltered and as always, unpasteurized to leave all the natural flavors intact. If you’re at the brewery you’ll be able to guess what style of beer every brewer has in his hand. THE BEER YOU'VE BEEN TRAINING FOR!

Malt: 2 Row, Pale Malt, Munich, 70-80 Crystal, Wheat

Hops: Columbus, Golding

Dry Hop: Columbus, Golding

12 oz bottle courtesy of a GAManiac trade thrown in as an extra from our wonderful trade. Pours a dull amber, darker with some orange hues, decent fairly bright white head, bubbly and soapy, laces a bit as it dies to a small layer, light haze. Aromas are a nice grassy lemony citrus, light florals and pale malts, it seems this might be lighter fare, but we shall see. Initial is decent in body, lighter pale malt and some crisp cereal and faint caramel notes, this brew throws a decent grassy hop character, lemon zest and florals, decent bitterness, finishing a bit weak, but a bit more mellow, with interesting citrus notes, faint gumball and grass? Certainly this isn’t a bad IPA and is quite sessionable, however it lacks the punch I like in my IPAs (More West-Coast-ish I desire). Not bad at all. Cheers.

On tap at Sweetwater Drafthouse, ATL. Dark deep gold, almost amber, nice lacing & descent head. Resin-piney with fresh-mown hay aroma. Hops-forward and so balanced it did not taste 6.9% at all. Nicely hoppy with excellent, pleasant after-taste. Perfect carbonation, not too dry. Is almost heavy-bodied & thick, but in the best way. Would definitely order again, highly drinkable.

Bottle. Clear light orange/amber pour with a big white head. Nice hoppy aroma with a taste to math. Citrus piney flavor is really nice and goes down easy. Very good.

Got this 12oz bottle from family and enjoyed at home in Ireland. Pours a nice bubbly golden yellow with a 2 finger white head that faded away to little suds that remained throughout the drink. Citrusy & hoppy are the main aromas and they are both very pleasant. Tastes basically how it smells, with the grapefruit dominating the citrus tones and the hops coming through nicely too. A bit piney and grassy too, as a nice flavor. Well balanced, not too complex and sticks to the main citrus/hops notes quite well. Goes down relatively smooth for this high of a ABV and isn’t too dry at the end either. I’m in the middle of a sampler six-pack from Sweetwater, and have been pleasantly surprised by their IPA offering. Looking forward to the other types but will definitely try this one again if given the opportunity, particularly on tap.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a pretty amber gold color with a thin off-white head. Citrust hop aroma that is almost berry sweet with a light malt background. Hop flavor is a bit more earthy - a little citrus with woody, bitter, malt finish. Not the hoppiest IPA out there, but a pleasant surprise.

very nice IPA, especially given the region in which its brewed, golden color, clear, no head, citrus hop nose and caramel malt, hop flavor is a bit stale and old with this bottle, grassy hop flavors and crystal malts, pretty damn good

12 oz. bottle. Poured orange. Great piney, citrus flavor that finished bitter. One-sided though, too watery. Crisp going down, would be sessionable. An IPA I could drink all night.

Again, as with the 420, it is just lacking something, like it is mildly flat or watered down. The aroma is hoppy and pleasant, there is good hop bitterness, but no consistency of flavor throughout. It is slightly lifeless, ok in a pinch, or, as I said with the 420, when you are in the south and want to drink local, but not great by any means.
