Commercial Description:
This mammoth IPA is defined by generous quantities of premium hops and balanced with a premium selection of English malt. Traditionally unfiltered IPA’s lead to the slight haze appearance. An extensive dry-hopping process contributes to its very intense floral hop aroma. The IPA is unfiltered and as always, unpasteurized to leave all the natural flavors intact. If you’re at the brewery you’ll be able to guess what style of beer every brewer has in his hand. THE BEER YOU'VE BEEN TRAINING FOR!

Malt: 2 Row, Pale Malt, Munich, 70-80 Crystal, Wheat

Hops: Columbus, Golding

Dry Hop: Columbus, Golding

Had this at a hole in the wall bar that rocked by our apts. This was very east-coast-trying-to-be-west-coast. No citrus or piney flavors, but loaded with hops, malts, and floral scents and flavors. pretty decent but coulda been better. nce clean finish though

beer pours a hazy (unfiltered) tannish-gold with a reasonably well-retained head that leaves some good sized sheets of lace. aroma is a complex smelling blend of spices, with earthy and fruity notes most prominent. some sweetness lies underneath, with some light toast. flavor is reasonably balanced, with some malt up front, followed by a nice hop flavor, and finished with a nice balance of IBUs and sweetness. interesting take on the IPA - not a hop bomb by any means, but a nicely balanced beer in which the hops are well-expressed.

Bottle. Golden-orange body with medium carbonation, lots of fine suspended material swimming about, and a uniform, cottony white head that produced scattered lace. Hop nose is spicy and floral with a light caramel malt underbelly and peach notes. Piney flavor with a mildly cheesy character and a light malt backbone. Bitter, but not intensely so. Dry, resinous mouthfeel. Good IPA.

Poured a dark orange and clear body. The aroma is oranges, honey and caramel. The taste has toffe, hay and some flowers. There is also light grapefruit. A well balanced and interesting IPA.

Poured slightly hazed amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of citrus hops and caramel malt. the hop aroma was pretty muted until the beer warmed up a good bit. Hoppy citrus flavor, a little acidic. Bitterness runs from start to finish. Everything is nicely balanced. A good drinking IPA.

12oz bottle, age unknown. Hazy gold pour with small head. Citrus hop smell that seemed a little small for an IPA, but it could just be an old bottle. Malty mouth, kinda thin, and an ok bitter bite. A decent IPA, but not my favorite.

Pours a hazy yellow-gold with yeast particles in suspension. A thin ivory head. Smell is sweet and citrusy. Orange, grapefruit and lemon aromas with hints of tangerine and blackberry. Amazing. Taste is also sweet and citrusy. The orange flavors shine through here. Strident bitterness in the finish, a hoppy bite that sneaks up on you. Lingering bitterness and citrus in the finish and crisp. Drinkablility? I keep quite a selection in my fridge and I always seem to drink my Sweetwater selections first. This brew is no exception. Could this be my new standby IPA?

on tap at the mellow mushroom. color is cloudy orange/amber/gold. thick & creamy off white head. aroma is hoppy citrus - orange rind. some grapefruit. very hoppy for a single IPA, medium carbonation but mouthfeel is still smooth & creamy. nice bitter finish & not too strong. very faint sweetness in the finish, like dried orange rind. nice thin layer of lacing on the glass. bitter aftertaste.
