May 17, 2009 Bottle, pours a semi hazy orange yellow beer with a big head. Aroma is citrus, pine and hops. Flavor is sweet citrus and hops, body is medium with a nice bittery finish. Well balanced beer, very good for summer time.

May 17, 2009 Bottle. Dark orange/amber pour with foamy white head that diminishes into a slick of lace. Aroma is awesome. Mango, oranges, and pine. Slight bitterness on the initial taste that gives way to some orange flavors, sweet malt, and pine resin. Medium mouthfeel that is bit watery. Slightly bitter finish with a touch of sweetness. A bit tame for an IPA but smells great and it is very easy drinking.

[ Trade by kpresley77 ].Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, grapefruit, orange, orange shell notes. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20081223]

Aroma: Nice floral hops nose, some pine, very citrusy in its sweetness
Appearance: Orange color with a slight haze, small head
Flavor: Pretty balanced IPA, nice hops and malt combination
Palate: I thought this one drank really nicely, light and smooth, but without sacrificing on the taste
Overall Impression:
A very nice IPA, the kind of thing that’s made for casual drinking, tasty and refreshing, a nice brew!

May 7, 2009 Pours amber with a small head. Citrusy, fruity aroma. Very citrusy hop flavor throughout, with hints of grapefruit. Nice hop kick but I could have used a better balance of malts and hops. A pretty sessionable IPA.

Apr 28, 2009 Had in bottle and on draft.
Good looking beer with nice carbonation and a decent head. Dark golden, hints of orange color. Unfiltered IPA so it’s not crystal clear (kudos).
Smell is very citrus leaving the senses anticipating a big hoppy experience.
Taste is where I get lost after such a great smelling beer. Sweetness from the residual sugars combined with the big/particular hop flavor (as opposed to hop bitterness) have me thinking I just cracked open a can of pineapple juice.
Mouthfeel is appropriate for style.
Drinkability for me is very low as I’m just not a fan of this beer.
Quality brewery and I’m a fan of some of their other offerings (Sweet GA Brown & 420)...but I’ll always pass on their IPA.

Apr 27, 2009 12 oz bottle poured into a tulip. Semi-clear amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of floral hops, grapefruit, and light pine. Taste is not too hoppy, has a nice bite but also some nice sweet caramel malt. Quite mild all the way around, in both taste and aroma. Mouthfeel is light and quenching, more watery, but not in bad way. Quite sessionable, goes down quickly!

Apr 26, 2009 (trade with Suttree). Pours white head that goes away quickly. Orange color body, bordering on amber. Nice hoppy aroma which carries forth into the flavor. Bottle had "Best by 04/09/09) on it. Makes me wonder how in your face the hops would be freshly on draft.
