Lots of fruit. Bannana, wheat, fruity hops. Taste is sweet, just a little fruit taste towards it. Texture is average. Kind of bleh in the after taste....Overall...nothing special except the nose... biznizness (940), Mooresville, North Carolina, USA

I would not say I am outraged, however. The description doesn’t fit well, it wasn’t super hoppsy or something. Kind of like a disappointing boring IPA like Weyerbachers before Double Simcoe (the one with the blue label, I’m talking about). I guess I"ll try it again since people seem to like it. Maybe I misjudged.
Edit 07/27/09: Had it again this weekend in NoDa. Must have been something wrong with the first taste, or the bartender gave me the wrong beer. It was much, much better. Not elite level IPA, had some weird metallic tinge to it, but really good. Sparky27 (1596), Phoenix, Arizona, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Mar 9, 2009 Bottle. Slightly hazy, orange color. Gentle flowery aroma and soft mouthfeel. I’d like a bit more bite in the after taste, but I don’t think that is what they were going for, so I won’t hold it against them. This is my favorite beer from Sweetwater. Simple flavor- a touch catty with a light sweet malt (nutty crystal) notes as well. Subdued citrus hop notes throughout. A bit simple. skortila (2905), Bunnik, Netherlands
