Hazy golden. Rich grapefruit aroma. Sweet with clean but firm mouthfeel. Pine needle finish with good bitterness. A well balanced IPA, it’s shortcomings in malt character are well masked behind the hops. yespr (12184), Copenhagen O, Denmark

The palate is a big, rich hop kick, with lean and mean hoppiness. By having hops that bring great flavour and bitterness without tanginess or resiny notes, you allow the pale malts to shine as well in their supporting role. Nobody is overcompensating with crystal malt here. Minty, biscuity middle and long, bitter finish. Damn fine balance. Constructed in the Bhagwan’s/Big Daddy mold, which seems to be my favourite for IPAs.
