On tap at Sweetwater Drafthouse, ATL. Dark deep gold, almost amber, nice lacing & descent head. Resin-piney with fresh-mown hay aroma. Hops-forward and so balanced it did not taste 6.9% at all. Nicely hoppy with excellent, pleasant after-taste. Perfect carbonation, not too dry. Is almost heavy-bodied & thick, but in the best way. Would definitely order again, highly drinkable.

Nov 28, 2009 12oz bottle. Pours a deep orangey gold with a medium-thin white head that leaves light spots of lace on the glass. Hoppy aroma - light flowery aroma with deep bitter citrus. Light, dry bready malt aroma in there, too. The flavor starts hoppy tangy with a pleasant malt quality that is both malty and bready but also dry and hoppy. The beer gets a strong spicy citrusy bitterness at mid-palate. The finish is long, hoppy, and bitter. The mouthfeel is medium in body and rather lavishly carbonated - which gives a subtle tickle/sting to the tongue and accentuates the bitter finish. Overall, a pleasant and very drinkable IPA - dry and bitter like a good American IPA should be.

Nov 27, 2009 Bottle: Poured a copper orange with an off white colored head. The aroma is hops and malt. Taste is malt with a slam of floral hop bitterness.

Nov 25, 2009 12oz bottle. Great nose of C-hops and pine. Taste much of the same but much lighter. Strong grapefruit and other citrus. Thin body and no much malt, which I like. Good IPA

Nov 11, 2009 Light copper with big fluffy head. Big pine and citrus hop aroma. Big citrus in the taste and enough malt to balance. Bitterness is moderate and lingers, but never too intense.Well done.

Nov 11, 2009 Aroma: Fruity hops (citrus, pineapple) but aroma is weak. Appearance: Dark golden with a nice small but dense head that leaves good lacing. Flavor: It’s got that floral hops that is a signature of sweetwater beers. Other flavors are grapefruit, touch of pine and caramel sweetness. Palate: medium body, lively, bitter with medium finish. Overall: This is a good & very drinkable beer. It would appeal to the first time IPA drinker b/c it is lighter than many others. It’s good and could be a session beer.

Nov 4, 2009 Opened the bottle and was overwhelmed with pineapple...nice and clean. A little grapefruit and smooth. Tons better than the Sam Adams IPA I bought earlier.

Nov 2, 2009 I can not believe how highly rated this is!?!?!? Seemed a little thin and weak to me. Drinkable and widely available where I am.
