Pours a mellow darker amber, good haze, and sizable tannish head that stays moderate, laces pretty well. Aromas throw a lively citrus and floral hopping, lemon and grapefruit, a touch of orange marmalade moving into caramel and toasty toffee, nut, biscuits. Very nice. Initial is lesser side of medium bodied, toasty and caramel malts mingle with good citrus and floral hop, decent bitterness, orange marmalade and good solid maltiness that balances near perfectly with the hops, really pushing some orange at this point. Further into the body, juicy strawberry comes into play, very enjoyable. Finish is clean, decent bitterness and orange throwing in some toasty and sweet caramel malts. I really liked this ESB. Could use just a touch more body, but overall very good. KimJohansen (7205), Copenhagen V, Denmark
