| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 21, 2009 Bottle courtesy of kp: Pours a transparent deeo copper amber with a large, well-lacing froth of off-white head. Aroma of nice grapefruity and lemony hops with a good caramel malty presence. Starts fairly full for the style with pleasant toffee sweetness and good piny flavoring hop balance before a crisp, bittersweet finish. Probably more like an amber than an ESB, but enjoyable nonetheless. JorisPPattyn (5192), Antwerpen, Belgium
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 17, 2008 Medium head, halfway mango-amber, dense, over very slightly hazed darker orange-amber beer. Grape/raisins cake with hoppy & lytchee aromas. Hops, but especially leafy/earthy flavours. Bitterness comes after a general sweetish-malty impression. Bit fiery MF, not very well-bodied. Palate falls a bit dead, leaving only indifferent bitterness. Beautiful nose, great flavours, but average finish. Cletus (5058), Connecticut, USA
