Commercial Description:
Road trips are carefree adventures that usually take unexpected twists, like when we created this beer. It started out as a Pilsner recipe, but halfway through it blew a tire and Ale yeast was put on as the spare. The result was so good, it never could have been planned!

Bottle from dchmela - thanks! Sweet pale malt nose with light spice and pepper, much more olfactory flavor than the usual golden ale - some light Kellerbier quality. Hazy yellow body with a rocky off-white head. Watery body, medium bitterness and a few leafy greens right at the forefront, malty and quenching with citrus from the hops. A sort of soft-water Pilsner with some extra zazz from the yeast. Enjoyed it!

bb 8/31/08 Cloudy orange, thin white cover of creamy looking head. Nice maltiness and spicy ale yeast notes. Solid blonde ale but nothing is really highlighted. Subdued spiciness and a lingering finish.

12 oz bottle. Pours a pale yellow color with a white head. Aroma is a Pilsner, flavor is an ale. A very interesting combination and I’m glad to have been able to try such a beverage. I could really see myself drinking this when it is quite warm outside - but as it cools, I just don’t think it would hold up as well.

Bottle. Pale-ish yellow pour with a small, very bubbly head. Very carbonated. Light aroma consisting mainly of hops and citrus. Not very extreme, as well as the flavor. Tastes of fruit and wheat with a somewhat bitter finish that lingers just a little too long. Don’t think I would ever be able to drink more than one of these.

Pale yellow color, minimal carbonation, bubbly head. The description makes sense, as it seems to have pilsner flavor with an ale like body. Hops are really floral and perfumey, leaves some bitterness on the palate. This is definitely kind of different.

Pours a hazy golden yellow with white head. Aroma is strongly floral. Flavor at first sip reminded me of the smell of perfume, earthy notes (straw and grassy for example). Body is light to medium but with this strange subtle carbonation that gives it a cloudy feeling in the mouth. Not thrilled about this beer. Feel like I am drinking my grandma’s perfume.

Draft @ Flying Saucer - Nashville. Amber in the glass with an off-white head that has ok lacing. Corn, blah aroma with hints of citrus. The flavor has hoppy citrus with light caramel backing. Light to medium body and light bitterness throughout.
