Has a spicy hop aroma, kinda smells a little like chicken broth. Flavor has a light malt base, but is mostly dominated by a nice, bitter, spicy hop flavor. Not bad. fattibobatti (246), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 26, 2008 Bottle. Very light yellow with a small head. Corny aroma and light malt. Clean flavors, but really light and lacks the ale fruity essence. GAManiac (1165), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 16, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear, bubbly gold with a decent puffy head that dissipates quickly leaving a little bit of lacing. Smell is very grainy with some faint hop aromas in there - smells like a fairly generic pilsner to me. The taste was more of the same with grains and bit of light biscuity malts before a slightly bitter and very crisp finish. The mouthfeel is light to medium with a bunch of carbonation. This is a fairly drinkable brew though it’s a little tough to discern what they were trying to do with this one, as it doesn’t seem like a double pilsner (so says the bottle) to me. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 27, 2008 Bottle, Hazy yellow gold pour with a medium off-white head. A definite citrus odor. Not much on the front but it’s got a hoppy bitterness that really sticks to the back of your throat. To be honest, not that enjoyable. beerbill (1953), Laurel, New York, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 21, 2008 12 oz. bottle courtesy of a trade with GAManiac. Pours a hazy gold with lots of big fat carbonation bubbles clinging to the sides of the glass. Thin-moderate white head that disappeared after the first few sips and left virtually no lace. Pleasant citrus aroma with some other fruit notes detected as well. The flavor begins with some weak malt and is follwed by an acrid, flavorless bitter finish - kind of like chewing on the white pith of a grapefruit. Thin bodied and overcarbonated. This is not something I would come back to.
