| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 15, 2007 Earthy, lemony APA aroma. This Sweetwater label is wearing on me. Sunny golden ale, slightly cloudy. Moderately hoppy, slightly sour, lemony. Very lightly briny. A good lawnmower ale, but lost in the no-man’s land between English and American hops and a Belgian-esque yeasting. Lemonpeel on the lips. Nothing spectacular. Reminds me a little of Lord Chesterfield, but better. jsh12bama (346), Alabama, USA

Poured allright though looks nice, with a good head on it. Try it if you must. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 3, 2007 Bottle from emacgee. Chill hazy medium gold pour with 1-finger whitish head. Aroma of bready, somewhat funky pale malt, hopcitrus. Tastes pale malty, with spicy floral notes, mild funky yeasty hints, and hopcitrus in the finish. Ughsmash (4088), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 29, 2007 Bottled. Poured clear brighter golden with a short-lived cap of white head. The aroma picked up sweet, dusty lemon zest and bready notes with another layer of lighter fruit behind.. on the softer side overall, and nothin’ wrong with it. The flavor was quite hoppy with lemon and floral notes primarily.. sweet bready notes and a bit of caramel beneath.. medium-long sharper bitter finish wasn’t so enjoyable. Lighter-bodied, sharp, and rather out of balance on the palate.. didn’t care too much for this. dolemite77 (184), Maryville, Tennessee, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 23, 2007 I guess there is a Sweetwater Brew I don’t care much for.... The 420 is one of my favorite session beers. I think I would rather drink a coors than this, just based on the cost. Not a fan of the aftertaste of this one... at least with coors you just have basic beer... this is too swanky... beerguy101 (3971), Newark, California, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Nov 21, 2007 This blonde ale pours a yellow gold color from a 12oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is sweet and a touch citrusy. A light to medium bodied blonde ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are mild (well a lot for a blond ale) but kind of citrusy. Good flavor. Nice session ale. Not complex, but nice tasting and easy drinking. Mouthfeel is a touch thin. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is mostly sweet woth a touch of hops.
