Growler from Merrifield, VA. Ruddy auburn coloring with a modest head of off-white, borderline beige. Spicy aroma of snappy malts plus the added bonus of banana. Spice, banana, and zippy malt in the flavor. Finishes somewhat bitter and hoppy with a candy-esque flair. Tasty.

Cloudy deep orange color. Looks like it is going to have some sediment and/or a big malt body to it but the drink is surprisingly crisp. Banana is very apparent in the nose and comes through faintly in the flavor. Flavors of spice as well, cinnamon and clove. Slightly bitter hop finish is very faint.

On tap at Sweetwater Tavern - Sterling. Cloudy amber body with a large creamy off-white head with good retention. Banana and light clove aroma. Banana and clove flavor, lightly phenolic with some fairly harsh astringency. Medium body with moderately high carbonation

fresh from the tap in Sweetwater, banana aroma, but the banana isn’t very noticable in the taste, which is a good thing

On tap at the Merrifield location. Appearance is a hazy golden color, with a small white head. The aroma is banana, clove, and cotton candy. The flavor is a banana one with notes of spice and a touch of rye. Relatively refreshing to be honest.
