| 0.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 2/20 | May 11, 2008 In short: A messy, borderline infected black beer. Avoid
How: Tap at brewpub
The look: Dark-brown body with a little beige head
In long: A clash of roastiness, honey and vinegary tartness. No need to say that it was pretty bad. I’m not gonna waste any more time describing this as I believe it would be a waste of valuables Zeros and Ones. SwedeDog (364), Windsor, Connecticut, USA
| 1.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Nov 20, 2006 Ugh, this was downright horrible. Looked nice enough in the glass. Somewhat of a roasty and chocolatey aroma, but it’s mostly sour. Mouthfeel is disgustingly sour and vinegary. I thought maybe there was something wrong with the batch, but it looks like I’m not the only one with this observation. Ugh, horrible. GonZoBeeR (2163), ste-Eulalie, Quebec, Canada

| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Dec 22, 2004 Sample at the brewpub. Dark but thin-looking, thin lasting head...chocolate-vinous nose is alright but a bit weird...extremely vinous/grapy body with little carbonation, syrupy in the middle and carboardy and unfinished-feeling at the end. Thank you, no. CapFlu (3493), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada
