I like:
At least it’s not as offensive as the black chery lambic.
I dislike:
Finally, those lemon wedges were most welcome as they provided most of the flavours in there. Sweet all throughout. The wheat texture is felt all right, but fails to provide the usual refreshment. Relatively thick and untight as well.

An aroma of caramel malt and light bannana and corriander. A semi sweet malt flavor with tones of fruitiness. Medium bodied. Decent bitter with a nice aftertaste. Pretty good. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 20, 2006 Damnit, they put a damn lemon slice in here before they brought it. You know, just because it’s a wheat beer, doesn’t necessarily mean that you should start stuffing fruit wedges in there. Anyway, (rant off) starts off rather sweet from banana and a little bit from the malts. Gets way too sour as it warms ... probably from the damn fruit wedge. I shouldn’t penalize the beer for the supplement they added, but it shouldn’t be there in the first place. I just saw that this is characterized as a hefe ... uh, no. This lies somewhere between a dunkel and a hefe. Way too dark to be a hefe, and not dark enough for a dunkel. Who knows ... GonZoBeeR (2163), ste-Eulalie, Quebec, Canada

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 7/20 | Nov 25, 2003 (Draught) Cloudy orange-amber body - rather dark for a weizen? - and a thin, white head. Nice carbonation. Tart nose. Sour, acidic, no banana or spices - what gives? Tart finish. Lubiere (4551), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
