Commercial Description:
Similar to a Porter in color, our only Lager beer has a dry and spicy flavor. This beer is similar to a white wine. Its distinct flavor comes from the combination of a special yeast and different types of hops. Our Rubia al Vapor is fermented with a lager yeast brought from California, at higher temperatures than normal lagers.

Appearance: amber copper color. Big head, beige color, persistent, consistent and rocky. Beautiful. Aroma: Very fruity with citric notes, quince, green grapes, apples and pears. Sweety, malty, yeasty, candy. touches of Honey and vanilla. Floral hoppy. Nice smell, complex, fruity and exotic for a lager beer. Flavor: Complex, fruity of quince, grapes, green apples, pears and peaches. Candy, sweet malty, honey notes. Good hops presence, with medium bitterness and persistent. Good balance. Fruity dryness of grapefruit peel and lemon peel. Nuts and clove in the finish. Palate: Medium carbonation. Light to medium body, with silky texture. The aroma is very nice. The flavor is balanced, with the freshness of lager and the fruitiness of ale. This beer is an exquisite. My first steam beer, a good experience. Long live to Szot! (sorry for my english)

A cloudy amber beer with a big white head. Aroma is grassy, floral and fruity. Dry and bitter mouthfeel, but very well balanced. Notes of caramel and honey. Very nice beer

Bottle, thanks Cristián and David! This beer shouts quality in all aspects. A solidly malty beer with smooth, toasty graininess all through it and then a balanced, mellow, complex grain finish with toffee, malt, bitterness and some dryness. Good stuff.

A Steam Beer in Chile? Wow. Pours a cloudy light brown/dark orange color. Head is medium big and white. It lasts for some minutes leaving a good lacing. Aroma is pretty strong, fruity with lots of apricots, peaches and ripe red apples. There is some caramel, woddy and herbal touches. Medium to big hoppy presence. Really nice. Flavor is sweet and fruity, very mellow but intense at the same time. I felt initial ripe fruit sweetness, followed by more bitter hoppy flavors and a strong bittersweet finish. Some smokey aftertaste. Medium body and carbonation. Nice alcoholic warm finish. Texture of a light syrup. A wonderful full-flavored beer, one of the best from Chile, really incredible.
