Feb 9, 2009 Slightly hazy straw colour. Not much aroma...I really tried. Slight bready malt. Clean, decent, but yeah, it is that type of beer.

Feb 6, 2009 Draught @ Charleston location. Clear golden, no head or lacing. Sweet grain aroma is mild with distinct lagering yeast. Finishes watery but clean. Sweet granular feel but almost painfully thin.

Jan 4, 2007 Draught. Man, I was already pumped up to sample this fine beer, but the description on the menu stoked my fires even more. Pours just like stale urine with some bubbles coming up and no discernable head. I was hoping for a tru pale lager, y’know, one that tastes as much like carbonated water as possible. Unfortunately, there is some a presence of this stuff, hops, I think. The good news is that the hops mostly resemble newspaper in smell and taste, and nothing else is really present except a sacchrine-like sweetness in the flavor. Bottom line: this beer is much too dark and heavy, but it’s still delicious.

Jun 11, 2006 on tap-pours with little fizzy to no head with yellow-gold color. Aroma is sweet grain. Taste is sweet grain, an OK light beer. OK carbonation.

May 1, 2006 Draught sample at the Mount Pleasant, SC location. Bubbly, clear pale gold with tiny remnants of fizzy foam....very minimal sweet corn -- applesauce aroma....sweet, cidery-soda character in the body, fairly clean at least, a touch sticky late....fizzy 7UP is what it’s closest to with a bit of dryness at the end making it shade more into tonic water territory...yeah, not much here.

Mar 5, 2006 Draught at Charleston, SC location. Clear golden color with no head or lace. Hint of sprucy hops in the aroma, but little else. Crisp and light up front with a little bit of sweetness and cereal grain malt. Pleasant grainy aftertaste that lingers.

Feb 1, 2005 An extremely fizzy Bud-clone of a beer with light malt flavors and lots of refreshing wateriness. Good if you’re thirsty or don’t want to fill up.
