| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 21, 2008 Bottle(bockbier) popped the cap and the beer shot out all over the place. I hope it didn’t screw up the carbonation, oh well. Pours a hazy orange/brown with a tall rocky white head. Smells really good. Light lemon and lime. Some floral hop notes, and mint. Where to start, this is pretty complex, but everything compliments everything else. It’s pretty strong at 8 percent starts mildly sweet and sour just like a grapefruit, the mouth turns very crisp and brings with it a very fresh hop flavor, and then ends dry with a light alcohol burn. As it goes down, a nice lacing is left on the glass, more light malt flavor comes forward. Yum. blutt59 (2186), Dallas, Texas, USA
