Light amber coloured beer with an average but diminishing white head. Rather yeasty aroma with a short herby and fruity touch. Full palate. Finish is bitter yeasty touched with a slight alcoholic vanilla hint. Overall a nice beer.

Hazy orange with a bubbly, lasting white head. Aroma of citrus and spices including cinnamon. Dry and spicy flavour. Complex but very cloying spice.

Brown yellow colored with murky appearance, vanishing yellow head. Lively carbonation. Lemony and caramelly aroma with nice touch of licorice, spiciness and some grainy note also present. Medium bodied. Flavor is also interesting with same licorice dominating, grains, lemon and some exotic fruits too, aftertaste turns to yeasty with some hops. Interesting brew.

A bottle, thanx to Jerre. A little hazy, yellow/golden colored beer, with a very thick white head. The aroma is malty sweet, fresh and fruity, with some spices. The taste is spicey, some coriander, with sweet malts and fruits like orange, mango and citrus. A little bitter. The aftertaste is mainly sweet.

(33cl bottle, as Hofgrobberke 2007, Lentebier, 8.0% abv) Cloudy, orange colour with yeast flakes swimming around and a short white layer. Sweet bready malty aroma with strong spicy notes of ginger and pepper. Moderately sweet flavour, medium bodied, slightly fizzy carbonation. Malt-accented base yeasty and light-fruity taste with spices getting stronger towards the sweet and bready, also pretty alcoholic finish with shades of herbal hops. Imo not particularly rounded and a bit too spicy (07.IV.09).
