33cl bottle: Pours muddy amber/brown with a creamy stable head. Aroma is heavy sweet of yeast, caramel & manuer - actually quite sour/herbal also. Hmmm... Taste is yeasty and has a slight metallic note. Soft & ok mouthfeel. One of those one time experiences. Not bad - not very good either!

Bottle, 6.5%. Slightly metallic aroma. Almost clear dark brown colour. Big, semi-stable tan head. The flavour starts off yeasty, turns malty with a sharp bitterness from the hops. Late roastedness, hint of horse blanket. More on the hoppy side than malty. Quite high carbonation. I expected better from ’t Ij.

Bottle: Hazy, ruby-amber coloured, bigger, extremely fluffy off-white head, quickly collapsing, sweetish spicy nose with a tinge of alcohol and yeasty barnyard; almost full bodied, soft MF, solid sweet-bitter flavour; brandy-like finish, warming, with a tinge of rotten vegetables. Not so convincing, tastes like an amateur brew...........

Bottled. Hazy brownish amber with a steady white foam. Yeasty nose with notes of nuts, caramel, apricot and souces. Dryish yeasty flavour of nuts, apricot and orange-peels. Dryish yeasty and spicy finish with oily grassy hops

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy brown qith a small tan had and a smell of citrus, caramel and coffee. aste is mainly sweet, citrus, grapes, caramel and candy sugar, but there are hints of roasted malts, coffee and hoppy bitterness too. Pretty good, but isn’t this a bock?

Bottle from quinns. Iv got this down as a dunkler bock? Aroma is sweet slightly roasted malts, slightly baked bean flavour. Taste is sweet also, hints at fruity yeast, though not much, quite carbonated but leads for easier drinking.

Amber colour. Aroma is sweet of chewing gum with herbs, some citrus and lemon. Flavour is hoppy and spicy as well, with a hint of strawberries. Nice.

Tasted before it was all-bio about 2 years ago and am transcribing my notes. At the time it was for me the most disappointing of t"ij beers. It looks like I will certainly have to return to it next time I am at the brewpub.
