Bottle. Gracias yespr. Pours a hazy deep amber colour. Aroma of dark fruits, hops and spices. Spices, bit sweet toasty maltiness in the flavour along with herbs, yeast and a slight sourness. Spiced bitter finish. Great brew!

Bottle. [Courtesy of yespr, tasting @ yespr] Average thick creamy beige head. Fair display of lacework. Cloudy amber colour. Light grain and citrus notes. Hint of spice and maybe even herbal feel over the palate. Light floral and fruity notes. Medium bodied with a light dry texture and an average carbonation. Light sweet flavour and a hint of bitterness. Light bitter finish.

Draught at the brewery. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Nice powerfull aroma, not so roasted. Moderate bitter flavor. Average bitter finish. Oily palate. Dont think this is a bok, I agree that it is more a belgian ale.

Draught at the brewpub.
Clear amber coloured, medium sized creamy head, some caramel, alcohol and spices in the nose. Toasted malt and burnt sugar aroma with notes of toffee, hops and yeasty t IJ brewery character. Very good bock.

Draught at brewpub. Deep, dark, clear amber brown with a huge fluffy head. Hints of lighter orange at the right angle. Sweet nose with a touch of the brewery‘s characterstic acidity. A touch of spice under some caramel. Strong roasy malt flavor, dark fruit with a sugary finish. Nicely full-bodied palate, notably smooth, almost silky.

Bottle from BierKoning. Dark brown. Large head. Caramel nose. Sweet, sour and malty taste. Full-bodied. Red berries and citrus flavour, also charamel and whiff of chocolate. Had expected better given the rating and the brewer.
